will this run AAA titles ?

1050 is too weak. 1050 ti can run low-med setting, 1060 6gb is preferred. Try Ryzen 1200 + 1060 6gb build

Also I would not build on Skylake if possible. For price, I would look into a ryzen build. If you want Intel, I would look at coffee lake.

if youre gonna get a 1050 id say go for an OC edition or a ti. zotac makes an AMP! edition that is pretty good imo. id say go for the R3 1200/1300X + b350 and some 3000ram. am4 will be relevant for a while longer than an intel 6th gen, i think. of youre set on getting a 144hz 2k screen ever then look at a 7th/8th gen i5.

oh i meant to mention thaf if you can save some on your mobo+cpu combo then spend the extra on a 1060, splurge for a 6gb if u can

Actually, you may find that say a Ryzen R5 for example doesn't do badly at high resolution. Conventional wisdom used to be anyway that as you turn up the resolution you are pushing your graphics card harder, so it can't feed as many frames back to the cpu.

I still wouldn't recommend 4k on like ryzen 3 or an i3. Even a kaby lake i5 might be pushing your luck, but something fast and multicore like ryzen 5 or higher, i7 or coffee lake i5 or i7 should be good enough.
