Hi guys, mid December I'm going to get paid an extra 920€ from work and with this money I intend to finally build me a good pc and I will need some help from you. I live in Spain, don't know how will that affect shipping prices, my budget is 1.300€ tops and the pc will be used mostly for gaming. I don't need to buy any perypherals, only the pc hardware. Also I don't really care for the case, better a cheaper one than a fancy looking one. What builds would you suggest?

Amazing, could you make a similar build but with an Intel CPU to compare them?

Even if I upgrade my monitor, I can leave that for january or february.
It is doable with your current budget.

After that the 3700X is probably the best value for the amount of cores and threads.

I see but I really can go with my current monitor for 1 or 2 months, in that time I can save money and buy a more expensive monitor.

@PC Tailor, It's tough to compare the 3600 to the 9600K as you lose the threads which could be beneficial later on however the 9600K after overclock does have a little bit more performance per core which is better for gaming although the difference may not be that much depending on the game.

I think the fairest comparison for the Ryzen 3600 is the non K version of the 8700 but the massive price difference doesn't even make the 8700 worth looking at.

@VaultDweller13, if you really want Intel then go with the 9700K but even still the Ryzen 3rd gen is just so much better for the price.

Completely agreed, @VaultDweller13 - this is usually why most of us recommend Ryzen first, as you get very similar gaming performance, but with the added bonus of more cores/threads for the same or a lower price tag.

I just wanted to compare both options, thanks for the heads up.

If you do wait and save up for a better monitor then consider going 3440x1440P. The immersion on 21:9 ultra wides is so much better then 16:9 and 100hz is a good refresh rate for all games. I would snag the RX 5700 as a minimum for this resolution.

Well I just added all the things from the Ryzen 7 build to my Amazon shopping cart and it ads up to 1260€. I have 2 questions, I see a lot of people complaining that the MSI Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB MECH OC is poorly optimized, are you sure this is the right video card to buy? Also I was thinking that it would be better to have more than 1 TB of space, should I buy a 2 tb hard drive, buy 2 1 TB drives or what? Thanks for your patience.
