Hi everyone,
As my 14yo PC has passed away yesterday I’ll be building my own very first PC when I make money for it but i’m already planning what to include.

I wanted PC that won’t cost much (~1000$) and it will be able to run everything already released on at least 60 fps and cyberpunk2077 at least on some high settings (idc about rtx). Plus I like to work in graphics software, 3D graphics, game design (unity) and I do a lot of programming so I want it really quick so it can even handle a bit of multitasking.

This is what i found to be most budget friendly:
MSI VENTUS 1660ti (350$) or 590 fat boy (250$) or blower cooler 5700 (500$) (but thats out of my budget for now)
/ B450 tomahawk max (140$)
/ Ryzen 2700x (300$) or 3600 (270$)
/ 16gb HyperX predator 3200mhz cl16 (120$)
/ Seasonic Focus Plus gold 650 (i already have that) (120$)
/ Samsung 860 EVO (Already have that) (100$)
/ 2x 2Tb Wd hdd (already have that) (150$)
/ Zalman z1 neo (50$)

I want some help with picking cpu as benchmark results vary a lot.. so i need some professional help from someone who really own these and is expert. I prefer 2700x as it will be more futureproof (nextgen consoles) and better for productivity tasks. Plus it includes awesome cooler that can cool down it very well. Plus both 3600 / 2700x costs same money.

Plus I dont really know about the graphics but i’m heading towards 1660ti as it has gddr6, 6gb memory, 1536 cuda cores, low tdp, 12nm i think and has performance similar to 1070.

And I wanted to ask about motherboard - is b450 MAX going to work on 2nd gen ryzen? I want max for newer preinstalled bios+it has more storage in cmos.

Thanks everyone in advance for reading, comments, help. :)

Is your budget 1000 dollars including the cost of the items you already have, or is it 1000 for the parts that you still need?

If it is 1000 for the parts that you still need I would do this:

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor ($329.00 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard ($114.95 @ Amazon)

If it is 1000 including already purchased parts I would do this:

1000$ including stuff i already have. The problem is that I wanted the stuff you pasted here but in CZ it is like 1600$ for components u listed. Cheapest 5700xt is 550$ (blower cooler), b450 max is 140$, ram is 120$, 3700x is roughly 500$, m510l is not available. The build i wrote is 1000$.. we have about 50% higher prices for Pc average
