building my computer now sata question!

My supply does have 3 sata and 4 sata cable total I have 3!
Do I need to use 3 sata or 4 sata cable to connect my ssd, hdd, and optical drive?
and Can I use just one sata cable to connect all?
Also, what is 4 pin floppy adapter?

Whatever suits your cable management.

In case there's a floppy drive installed. Or other devices with a.floppy connector.
