Here are the items I have selected for my first build, I will be buying these components throughout the next few months. With the exception of the case, I have selected each item with the belief that they are top notch, if they are not please inform me. That being said I am not attempting to make a computer with enough power to stream 5 High-Definition movies and play 3 graphic intense games at once. Also I am not sure if I am missing anything. I am also concerned with compatibility. To be completely honest I am not sure how most hardware works and do not want to buy a piece that will not fit. Thanks!

In the spoiler you will find the component, price, brand and make, and a link to where I plan to purchase it from.

You had a few parts which don't work together, like the CPU, motherboard and RAM. The PSU is far too large for what you need as well, you could put in 3 GTX970s in the system.
