Hey, I'm new here and I hope this is the right place to post this.
Anyway. I'm looking to build my first computer. My main concern is playing World of Warcraft and to have something that will last for a while. I think I've found all that I need, but I was wondering if there would be better or cheaper options. My budget is about $800-900. On newegg my total is about $900 including s&h so if there would be anyway to shave anything off with out hurting me too much I'd be happy. Thanks for the help.

here or the parts with links.

This WD 640GB costs $5 more than the Seagate 500GB, it's bigger and faster.

Change the case to Antec 300 and save $90.

Upgrade the video card from HD 4350 to HD 4850. It will cost $100 more but it's 10 times faster. Literally, as in 800 stream processors instead of 80. You also get a free mouse.

Aevm has a great point on the videocard upgrade, with a 4850 you will be guaranteed to have 40+ FPS in any raid on wow, setting maxed as long as your internet can keep up with your system that would be a good wow build.

Get this SH-S223F DVD burner instead of that DVD-ROM. It's only $7 more and it has a lot more features.

That RAM has horrible timings, and it's only 2GB. If you can spend an extra $20 get this 4GB kit:
Kingston 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800

I'd get Vista Home Premium 64-bit for $100 rather than XP SP3 for $90.

LOL, I'm making you spend more instead of less. You did a great job there already, it's very hard to cut costs from that setup.

Thanks for the quick replies. I now have the total cost down to $850, thanks to some of the parts you posted. Thanks for the help.

Oops, my bad, I was looking at the wrong model.

True, the Seagate ST3500418AS gets averages like 100 or even 104 MB/s, and the WD6400AAKS around 89 MB/s. The WD Caviar Black (WD6401AALS) gets 98 MB/s.
