The R9 270x beats it. And also, that in game bundle thing is only eligible for US customers. AMD isn't bad at all. A lot of people, including my father who once built his PC, still believe that the Intel + Nvidia pair is the best. Today, there is NO such thing as a bad GPU, but bad prices. AMD has better prices for the same amount of performance.

Oh and I believe you meant GTX 750 Ti

Here are some comparisons and benchmarks

Oh hey ! Fellow Singaporean here too !

Prices in Sim Lim are ridiculous so I recommend getting your parts from Amazon. Items that are AmazonGlobal eligible and that are sold and shipped by Amazon are eligible for free shipping. But you'll have to spend at least 120 usd. That should be fine since most of your parts are more than 120 usd

so what's your budget in SGD ?

What parts do you not need ? Or is this a completely fresh new build ?
Windows 7 or Windows 8.1?
What screen resolution ? HD ? 1920 x 1080 ?
Are the speakers, mouse and keyboard included ? Or built in speakers in the monitor ?
What Case size ? Micro-ATX ? ATX ?
Headset ? If getting one, I recommend a dedicated soundcard instead of the integrated soundcard on the motherboard

Well from my experience, my Asus Xonar DG enabled digital surround and sound quality sounded better. Digital surround can be very useful in FPS games. Not sure if 5.1 or 7.1 surround is better. But any $100+ speakers with good soundcard is good enough, well at least for me. I have the AE aego M 2.1 speaker system , $300. But in my opinion, there isn't really any good speakers from the $100 price point. Good sound is what your ear compares to. $100+ speakers shouldn't have any distortions so don't worry about that.

I will be using back my old monitor , i will be buying micro atx case . Is my motherboard compatible with the cpu? I will also be using back my headset , mouse , keyboard and speaker

Oh and you said that you were going with a " corsair carbide series case " . I don't there are any micro ATX cases in that series

If you would like to over clock your CPU, then go for the FX-8320 and the Asus M5197 Evo. Videopro only sells the FX-8350, so I guess you either go Sim Lim and get your items or get the slightly more expensive FX-8350. Don't forget a CPU cooler ! the CM Hyper 212 Evo performs really well for the price. Get it from Amazon

See the difference in resolution and the performance ? If you use a lower resolution, your GPU doesn't need to work so hard to fill the screen so if you're not playing on a higher resolution, then a R7 250x is all you need
