building my first gaming desktop (specs listed below) need help answering some questions

this will be my first build so I have some questions

my first question is should I attach my liquid cooling radiator to the top or on the front? and where do my fans go facing inside or on the outer side of the radiator?

my second question is there anything that I'm missing from the build?
I'm getting thermal paste and the anti static wrist strap and have the screw drivers and I have a USB thumb drive with windows 10 installed. anything else?

my third question is their any video you would recommend? I looked at quite a few, but couldn't tell which one gives the best information and shows it the least complicated way.

Your PSU is kinda overkill, get a 650 Gold rated unless you plan on doing SLI (which is somewhat a waste of money)

Water cooling AIOs aren't any better then a high quality air cooler so unless you like the look there's less points of failure on an air cooler.

As far as your question about the radiator, its more personal preference where you put the radiator but on the front makes cleaning the radiator more difficult. I would recommend the top of the case and have the fans mounted to the case followed by the radiator withe the fans pulling the air through, that way you can easily clean the radiator of dust.

You also may consider changing your CPU and MOBO to the new Coffee lake intels, the i5-8600k performs the same as the 7700k and is the same price.

Nothing wrong with the B2 750w if it's at a good price. It's actually a better unit than some claiming gold status.

I'm not gonna argue air vrs liquid, it's been done far too much, forever it seems, both have advantages and disadvantages. I prefer liquids looks personally, I find it much cleaner than an aluminium brick in the middle of my mobo.

Facts are a little misleading concerning placement and cleaning. It's a 3 fan intake behind tempered glass cover. The fans are led case fans. That makes them pretty miserable for radiators generally, and swapping them for the stock fans would ruin the looks of the case. So front mount would be seriously inadvisable. Leaving top mount as the best position. Putting the radiator below the fans is the better idea for cleaning as you'll not have to remove the fans to get at the dust donut that's common to all heatsinks. When mounting the fans, you put the ugly side up, that's the direction of flow, nice to ugly, so will draw air through the radiator and exhaust directly out. Some ppl prefer the looks of the fans, so will mount the radiator to the case and fans to the radiator, showing the nice side, which blows air through the radiator before exiting.

I'd add a cheap 1Tb hdd for use as mass storage and someplace to keep full copy backups etc. Reliance on a single drive, when it's possible that OS might need to be totally reset is not advised
