First time Builder here and I am looking for input. My goal is the ability to play AAA games at 1080 at high settings and get a pretty reliable 60 Fps. MY budget is right around 1000 USD.

I would scrap the SSD and instead put that money towards a GTX 1070. I just got one a week ago and it is a BEAST for the price at 1080p, you'll be future-proof for a long time. You can always get an SSD later and reinstall your OS onto it (I did this not too long ago, it was surprisingly easy).

If you're really set on having the SSD right now though, I would agree with strike2001 in waiting for the 1060
