I'm kind of new to this PC community so I thought about building my first PC. I've been reading a lot of articles, watching tutorials, watching YouTubers (Linus Tech Tips, TechSource, etc), listening to what my peers say about build a PC and why it's better advantage to console gaming. I've been on a console for at least 7 years and never actually gamed on a PC. Now I think I'll have to move away from that old crappy outdated Xbox 360 and start a better gaming experience so I'm trying to get people to give me some tips about my first build because I am a novice so it's my first time building.

I'll give you guys a link to my list of parts to take an overview of it.

Okay, not bad. But for roughly the same price you can get an i3 and RX 460:

I also included a better Wifi adapter that's PCI-E x1. And since the mobo has the front panel USB 3.0 header you won't need that adapter.

Well I mean I'm on a $700 budget and I want something a CPU to overclocklile the G3258. I've seen many tutorials and videos overclocking it. I've added a cooler to my list. Is a Radeon 460 better than a 750 Ti?

I guess but aren't both dual cores? Plus the Pentium is unlocked so people say it's overclockable to 4.3 with a better CPU fan. I'm still taking your advice for his build and changing that GPU.

the i3 is dual core but has hyperthreading which the pentium does not. trust us, the pentium will not come close to the new skylake i3. plus your giving up ddr4 ram which is a lot faster than the ddr3 ram the pentium uses. giving up even more performance.

here is a test of these cpu's http://techbuyersguru.com/ultralight-gaming-shootout-pentium-g3258-vs-core-i3-4170-vs-core-i3-6100?page=1

one image form it. as you can see the pentium is not even close to the i3-6100

You can get Zotac GTX1060 edition for $10 less than EVGA one but I would recommend to stick with EVGA. For a moderate gaming experience I would recommend GTX1060 nothing less than it for your budget. You can get better case only if you push budget a bit further to like $750. Depends on you.

Here is build with better case $750

Good but just be careful with the GPU choice because if it is not from a good brand you will ultimately face some problems which you don't want.
Congrats in advance for new PC

I think i might need to downgrade my budget. Ill get the parts youve provided but id like a cheaper graphics card.

What do you think should i get for around 150-200 CAD?

Edit:
EVGA GeForce GTX 950 SSC ACX 2.0?
