Motherboard : MSI H97M-E35

Processor : Core i5-4690K

Graphics card : Zotac GTX 970 4GB

RAM : G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB

Storage : Seagate 1TB SSHD

Power Supply : FSP Raider 750W 80 Silver

Case : Raidmax Super Altas
+ optical drive & cpu fan

My budget is around $1000
(Monitor and other periphs not included yet)

Are all parts compatible?
Will it work without the gpu?
Do I need a sound card or does my motherboard already have it?
Will my psu handle it or do I need a better one?
Am I missing anything?

Solution
All parts are compatible, it can work with the i5 integrated graphics if you remove the GTX 970, the motherboard has an integrated sound card, a good quality 550W PSU is enough for that build, and finally, no, you´re not missing anything.
Hope I helped you and ask if you have more questions.
