Building my first pc

I'd need some help in building my first pc.
I was thinking about:
Gtx 1060 6gb (I wanna upgrade later on 1080)
Corsair Vengeance 16gb 3000mhz ram
Seagate Barracuda 3tb
Samsung 860 Evo 500gbs (I might upgrade to 960 Evo)
I'm not sure about the cpu, I know I want a i7 8700 but I don't plan overclocking. I heard the k-version is better even if I won't overclock.
Cryorig h7 seems like one of the bests coolers out there.
I also need a motherboard with wi-fi, not sure if gigabyte or Asus are good brands.
Will Corsair 550w PSU be good enough?
The last thing is a case, from what I know be quiet dark base 900 pro would be the best buy but I don't plan on spending 170+ on a case right now. Is there anything cheaper?
Thank you all for any help, I really appreciate it.

Well, it looks like you've got a pretty good idea of where you want to go with the build. I would say that given the motherboards available with wi-fi, which are all Z series motherboards, that you should spend the few extra dollars on that k-version of the 8700. That said, I'd reccomend the Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming Wi-Fi for your build. Both Gigabyte and Asus are good manufacturers, but I prefer Gigabyte as I've had half a dozen boards from them in the past and all of them have been great.

For your power supply I'd probably go with something in the 650W to 750W range. You are going to pay a little more, but they will be more energy efficient, run cooler, and have plenty of headroom for upgrades later on. I think you'd be really...

I think you'd be really happy going with a fully modular power supply as well. It prevents a lot of clutter when you can just use the cables you need to. I'm partial to the Seasonic FOCUS Plus Series SSR-650FX.

Cases are an intensely personal decision. However, I'm a fan of the Phanteks P400, the NZXT S340, the Fractal Design Meshify C, but my super number 1 choice of case is the Corsair Crystal series. The Crystal series comes in 2 sizes and a few color combinations, but it is SO MUCH RGB and tempered glass. I really really want one... but like I said, cases are an intensely personal choice.

Hope that helps!
