Title really says it all. All it has to do is run Facebook, farmville, and there little gaming websites like Pogo.com. I've come up with this so far:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Decided an ITX would look cool, and make them feel like they're getting a really cool new computer. But if I can save some money going with a more standard case/mobo then I will. Any thoughts? I honestly just went and found the cheapest parts I could. Except for the mobo, SSD and PSU. I made sure they were the cheapest from a reputable brand.

Solution
remove the graphics card, as by the looks of it the integrated graphics on that mobo, with that cpu will work.

Also they wont notice a difference between SSD and a 7200 rpm HDD, which would be cheaper.

with those 2 adjustments you might save almost $100

But make sure that case fits and ATX PSU, as it is an ITX case :)

I'm not sure why you want to build a computer for a little web surfing. Why not just buy a cheap one from any online store?
Gateway SX2110G-UW318 @ TigerDirect $172.62 + shipping
DELL OptiPlex 755 MT @ Newegg $174.99 free shipping

I would think a build like this: You get a case with PSU and a better CPU/GPU in one with the AMD FM2

CPU: AMD A8-6600K 3.9GHz Quad-Core Processor ($119.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock FM2A75 Pro4-M Micro ATX FM2 Motherboard ($80.38 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($37.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung Spinpoint F3 250GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.99 @ Newegg)

Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($19.99 @ Newegg)

Wow the 5450 is way overpriced in Canada... You would be better off getting an actual standalone motherboard and getting one of the budget APUs from AMD. It might cost a bit more but the performance increase will be massive. Something like this would work:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103943

The processor is light years ahead and the graphics card is most definitely faster than the 5450. All for maybe an extra 7 dollars of shipping fees.
