hey guys, as the title suggests, I'm building a PC, Config is AMD Ryzen 2700x, Gigabyte x470, 16GB ram, 256gb ssd, 2tb hdd. now im stuck at the GPU, should i buy Nvidia GTX 1080 or Quadro P4000, because i'll be doing both, gaming and 3D modelling and Rendering. I'll be playing games like FIFA 18, PUBG, X-Plane 10/11, Seige, etc and running programmes like Rhinoceros v5/6, Adobe Creative Suite, Keyshot, Maya, Solidworks and other Autodesk Applications.

please help me choose the right gpu.

Solution
To what degree would you be running the rendering/modelling apps? I'd suggest buying the GTX1080Ti or the Titan Xp considering how you want the best of both worlds. You could deal with a gaming card like the GTX1000 series but it'd have lack luster with your apps...more so if you need to earn using the card/it's works.

Solution
GTX 1080 or 1080TI why? Because Quadro is not made for gaming so you will not be so happy when you are gaming the 1080TI is much faster and better than the Quadro P4000 because the 1080TI has much VRAM and thats what you need when you are 3D modeling.

I'm afraid you cannot play via Quadro gpu. Considering prices for p4000, you might better buy gtx 1080 ti, not just gtx 1080. Top GeForce gpus work good in any applications - games, adobe photoshop, adobe premiere, 3d modeling and etc, thanks to high frequency and large number of cores.
