I'm in need of expert opinions. I have a build on new egg, and I was wondering if all the parts line up compatability wise.
Case- CM Storm Trooper
GPU- EVGA GeForce GTX 970
CPU- Intel core i5-6600k 6M skylake quad-core 3.5Ghz LGA 1151 91W
Motherboard- MSI H170 Gaming M3 LGA 1151 Intel
Pwr Supply- Thermaltake smart series 700W

Solution
Few things either change cpu to 6600 (non k) 6500, or change your board to a z170 that processor is made to overclock that board won't do it. If you choose the 6600k/z170 route you need a cpu cooler as the k series chips do not come with one. You also don't mention memory, hard drive, ssd. Id also suggest getting a gtx1060 over. 970 if you can swing it

Thank you, that's exactly what I needed. I'm going to switch the processor to a 6600, as I have no need for overclocking. I'm still weighing my options with hard drives I have and hardrives/ssds online, and a friend is giving me some of his extra Ram. I'll check the prices on the 1060s, and see if I'm able. That would be pretty cool. Thank you for the reply, you've helped a lot!
