Hey guys, building a PC for 650$ and I want to know if this is good;

i5 2500k (already bought, on sale at my store) 180$
Gigabyte z68x U2D-b3 mobo (already bought, on sale at my store) 100$
4gb ddr3 1333 ripjaws ram 30$
1tb seagate barracuda 7200 RPM 50$
rosewill challenger 50$
750w antec gamer PSU (80+ certified) 70$ with rebate
asus 24x dvd/cd burner 20$
AMD radeon 6870 1gb ddr5 155$ with rebate
windows 7 home 64bit 80$ newegg (on sale with coupon i got in email)

looks good. ram is so cheap right now, it seems silly to me not to get 8gb, even if you only need 4gb at the moment.

thanks, the xfx warranty is nice but it is very loud and hot, so i'll go with the sapphire and challenger.

i'll probably get 8gb ram, and if theres a sale should i drop the 8gb and the psu / case a little and get a 6970 2gb?

what is your resolution?
and you dont really need 750W psu for the 6870. a 500-to 650 is enough.(unless you go crosssfire in the future)

other than that this is a great build.

going to crossfire 6870's later, and my resolution is like around 1280?...2004 monitor ftl. it's 21 inches and sony, and i don't need 1920x1080 res.

also getting 1tb barracuda 7200 rpm and 8gb of vengeance if it's on sale.

yeah dont get the ram i linked, that ram is 1.65v and you want 1.5v ram. my bad.
