Hey I'm going to be building a new gaming computer today with my friend! Everything completely brand spanking new! And I would just like some help for components! There would be a few conditions! We live in Calgary AB Canada so we get all of our stuff from a store called Memory Express (www.memoryexpress.com) but they do a price beat on any Canadian store so Newegg.ca would work aswell aslong as they have the same product at memory express.

But he has already picked out a case it will most likely be a NZXT H440. Prefers Intel Chipsets, motherboards. GTX Geforce GPU of some sort.

He would also like DDR4 over DDR3 if possible... dont need to over do the Ram and what not he would like a computer to add on to... can always add more ram and what not.

Able to go over 1500 by abit!

Any help on making up a parts list is appreciated!

Please try your best to use Memoryexpress.com and Newegg.ca (have to have same parts at memoryexpress though)

Just FYI, your friend doesn't know what's good for him. Memory express DOES have this GPU, but their website has the part # wrong. I checked all the parts and memory express carries them. This computer will run pretty much everything at it's highest settings for probably 2-3 years.

This is the only way to get DDR4 ram currently, and frankly this is overspending more the imagineable. He could get by with probably on $1000-1100 if he didn't request something stupid like DDR4. This is not the time to be buying DDR4.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K 3.3GHz 6-Core Processor ($476.98 @ DirectCanada)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve...

Now if I pushed the price range up to 2500 could you guys build a good DDR4 computer? He doesnt need a OS, monitor, mouse/keyboard, HDD, SSD, no wireless (so a good ddr4 motherboard with out AC wireless since that adds a few hundy).

ddr4 is a fairly new standard but it will become cheaper as the year goes on and also more efficient. I would not but ddr4 right now only because its only just came out and still had room to improve.
