any help, comments and opinions would be fantastic! Is that awesome or not so awesome? Gaming on 1080p with max settings is my goal, I have a GTX 580 1.5GB right now but in the future would like to SLI at LEAST 2 660TIs.

Well I am no pro but here are my thoughts as I am in a similar bind. Depending on my responses in my thread.

For Four-way SLI, I'd recommend either the Maximus V Extreme or Gigabyte's GA-Z77X-UP7 or EVGA Z77 FTW.
The UP7 isn't out but I'd recommend it only for overclocking, especially if overclocking all 4 GPUs. Other wise MVE or FTW.

2 way SLI: I'd go the GA-Z77X UP5 or Maximus V Formula.
I'm leaning towards the UP5 as it has thunderbolt and some beastly MOSFETS. But it cannot do 3 way SLI.

I agree with the 3570k for gaming. In most cases, it does exactly the same as the i7 3770k. However that is because games right now don't take advantage of hyper threading. That could change. But for the next 3-4 years it probably won't.
