Hey i am planing on replacing a very outdated tower and wondering if any one could give me some advice :)

Im just making a plan at the moment so not bought any thing so far just deciding what to buy etc
I would rather use HDD since i have a very large amount of older games backed up from my collection :)
Just read that the intel has less cores but i think that would be better since older games don't multi thread to make advantage of the amd apu extra cores i picked

Also any atx full sized boards you would recommend thinking of maybe making it more upgrade friendly in the future ?
