Building new pc for gaming !!

Hi guys, I'm building currently a new pc for gaming but still have to ask about some parts that i chose for my new gaming pc:

first of all RAM will be 16GB

next, based on my current budget i have to choose between 2 options:

(1) core i5 7500 3.4GHz paired with GTX 1060 ti 6GB

(2) core i7 7700 4.2GHz paired with GTX 1050 ti 4GB

my motherboard will be h110

so which option is the best for gaming?

and another question pls: core i7 7800X can work with the h110 motherboard?

NOTE: I hope this pc support games enough for 5 years

7800x is lga 2066 chipset, therefore is not compatible with lga 1151 that the h110 mobo is using.

What is your budget? An Intel 8xxx series or Ryzen would be better options than the ones you posted.

i suggest going with the new 6 core i5-8400 with an h310 mobo

1 stick of 8GB ddr4 (ram prices are high and 8GB is still great for gaming) you can upgrade to 16GB later

Dont build a new PC today with a 7500 or a 7700 unless you already have the motherboard. You should look at the current generation hardware.

The GPU has the biggest impact in gaming performance over every other part. So you want to build your system around the GPU. You should not pair a 7700 with a 1050ti because that is too much CPU for a budget GPU. I would look at the 8400 as this is an excellent mid range CPU. The 1060 6gb GPU will pair nicely with the 8400 and will have a lot more longevity than the 1050ti.

Do not get one stick of RAM. That is bad advice. Modern day motherboards are dual channel boards. Running one stick of RAM will run single channel on a dual channel board and you will be asking for trouble and there will be performance loss. If you are tight on your budget, drop to 8gb of RAM (2x4gb sticks). 16 is the maximum amount of RAM you need, but dont go with 16gb of RAM and drop to a lower tier CPU or GPU.

I would go with this build.
