Hello! I made a preliminary build using pcpartpicker and I wanted someone experienced to take a look if everything looks fine. I am out of the loop when it comes to DDR5 memory and all the different motherboards, so I don't really know if I made good decisions. Maybe I could swap something etc.

I feel like I could save some money on mobo probably, initially I wanted to get PRIME Z790-A WIFI since it's much cheaper, but it has only 4 connectors for chassis fans (fractal torrent has 5 fans), so I think it would not be enough (unless I am unaware of something)
Also kinda worried that the NH-D15 might not be enough, opinions vary. I dont want to oc or undervolt anything, just want it to work.

Your build looks fine, just that I'd swap the PSU out for something that has 1KW~1.2KW of power at your entire system's disposal. If you look at the bottom of the case in this picture;

the case will come with a Nexus 9P Slim Fan Hub.

Hey! Thanks for answering, but could you elaborate on the PSU thing (I really have no idea what you mean and why do I need different PSU :D) also, does the nexus slim fan hub mean that I can choose the other mobo, without the necessity of having 5 case fan connectors? Furthermore, I've read some opinions that one should get ATX 3.0 psu, dunno if it's really necessary.

After doing a bit of research I decided to swap that PSU with be quiet! Dark Power 13 PCIe 5.0 1000W 80 Plus Titanium.

Your build is fine.
I have some thoughts:

A good air cooler like the NH-D15 is suitable for the 13700K:

The motherboard is compatible with most coolers(some ASUS vrm heat sinks can interfere)
https://ncc.noctua.at/motherboards/model/ASUS-ROG-Strix-Z790-F-Gaming-WIFI-5697

The ram is low profile so the NH-D15 will be OK.
NH-D15s will tolerate high ram heatsinks.

On the samsung 2tb 980 PRO, run samsung magician to update the firmware.
Old firmware led to premature ageing.

For case fans, you can always use a two fan adapter.
The practical impact is that both fans will operate at the same speed.
You certainly could use the other motherboard.

If no plans on overclocking then I wouldn't bother with the 13700K.

Another money saver if you don't plan on overclocking.

Hello! Thank you for reply. I just did a little digging and from what I understand I don't need to connect each fan to separate chassis connector since the Torrent comes with a fan hub. I think I just need to connect all the fans to the HUB and then the hub to PSU with a sata cable and also to CPU_FAN Connector on MOBO. Correct me if I am wrong please ;)

I do not know how your particular fan hub works.
The question for fans is do you want to vary the speeds?
Individually or collectively?
And based on what criteria?

A cpu fan connector on a motherboard can vary it's output depending on the cpu temperature.
Usually, the CPU_FAN connector will control the cpu cooling fan.
Other headers will manage the case fans.

Regardless, that is something you can figure out later.
You may find, like I do, that I want the case fans to turn quietly at a constant speed.

Id be best if they run at the same speed and I can adjust it in bios. Don't know what fan curve I should set tho
