I'm building my first computer in over a decade and after hours of putting all the components together, I plug it in for that agonizing first power-on. The motherboard's DRAM_LED glares continuously regardless of what configuration I put them in. I do the MemOK test each time and it fails the battery each time. They're DDR4 PC3200 modules that should work just fine but the mobo won't get past POST. I've even made sure everything is getting power, too.

CPU is fine, can't bring up display so I can't mess with voltages or firmwares. It's just the RAM sounding off at the moment. I bought a set of RAM that's on the ASUS compatibility list, so I'm going to find out what the way forward is on Tuesday.

This board doesn't have a USB Flashback feature/option. It looks like something they discontinued some time ago. They have a header for an external card port, but apparently no one knows what it is.

Got the new RAM, still doesn't work. Stripped the PC down to its bare bones: mobo, CPU, memory, still failing the memory test. Ugh, maybe it's the board...
