Long story short I need a new pc for gaming. I need advice on what to buy. Is now even a good time to be investing into a new rig? I basically need a new everything at this point. Should I buy refurbished from newegg or w.e? I dont really want to spend more than $700. Any advice is greatly appreciated.... maybe i just continue to use my toaster..... sigh

A new monitor will take at least 200 of that 800.
You need:
Case; maybe 75
RAM; maybe 50 to 100
CPU; maybe 200
Motherboard; maybe 150; maybe micro ATX
Power supply; maybe 75
CPU cooler if not included with the CPU; 30 to 50 if needed
Monitor??; 200 minimum?
Video card; maybe keep what you have

Ok so if i keep my 1050 ti.. i also had 1tb memory ssd i think . Do you know of a mobo i can put my 1050ti in along with a ryzen 7? I also dont know how to tell if i will need cooling... idk if its worth upgrading my monitor or gpu given my budget

How about something like this. Downgrade the gpu a bit to fit the budget. You could save up and pick up a new monitor in a couple of months. As far as gpu most any new gpu will smoke the 1050ti. Check out something like an rx 6600 or similar.
