Hello guys,
I just want to ask that, I want to build a new PC so I have 3 options so which option should I choose and my purpose is only gaming.

First option - is to purchase a rx 470 (4gb) with my current specs
My current specs are amd phenom ii x4 945 , gigabyte 78lmt-s2pt , 8gb ram , 750 ti (if I buy rx 470 then I'll discard 750 ti)

Second option - is to buy an intel i3 6100 , h110m pro mobo , 8gb ddr4 ram , rx 460 (4gb)

Third option - is to buy an intel i5 4460 and a h97m-d3h mobo and if I go for this option then I'll
purchase a rx 470 (4gb) after a few months

so guys which option should I choose ?

Thanks in advance :)

I suggest you get the i3, it will come a bit cheaper and it's a newer generation CPU. You will lose a little bit of performance compared to the i5, but later on you can upgrade to an i5 6500 / 6400. And for the graphics stay with the 750 ti and upgrade to the RX 470 when you can afford it, the 750ti isn't that different from the RX 460.

I'd select the Second Option... Its on Intel's latest socket and leaves great upgrade options. However I'd look into the GTX 1050 Ti . As much as i support AMD's budget stuff benchmarks show that the GTX 1050 Ti outperforms this card .

thx guys for the reply and i just want to ask that i3 has 2 cores so will it be enough to do gaming? and is 1050 ti is better than rx 470 ? and if I use rx 470 or 1050 ti with i3 + h110m pro so these gpu wouldn't burn the pci express slot ?

Don't settle for a dual-core because most games will not perform their best without four cores. Go for the i5, considering that it has 4 cores and the Haswell architecture is still great. And you won't burn your slot.

The RX 470 drags the GTX 1050 TI like a Rag-Doll.....

However your I3 will be sufficient enough for most games as the Hyper-Threading really helps. What i don't understand is why you would think it would burn the PCI Slot....No graphics card will burn your PCI slot.

The only reason why im not recommending the 3RD Option to you is because it's not the latest Intel Socket. If you do choose to go with an I5 then it should be a I5 6500 + Gigabyte H110M-A

It doesn't have to be the latest socket for it to perform well.

Exactly, you will get the best out of your system if you go with the Skylake i3, get a new MOBO, DDR4 RAM and keep the 750Ti, on the long run get the RX 470 or a better card if you can.
