My PC has crashed during gaming, it won't launch windows now, I can get to the BIOS menu, I was able to do a restore point, but it still won't launch. I'm sure it could be fixed, perhaps a software issue or one component like my GPU, but I'm ready for a new PC. $800 budget (I have a monitor/speaker/keyboard and mouse) and I'm willing to go closer to $1,000 if there's a good reason. I would like to build a new gaming PC from the ground up. My current one is over 3 years old, so I'd like to just start fresh. I do have a 250GB SSD with windows 10 on it and a 1 TB HDD that I would like to keep, unless it would be smarter to upgrade and transfer data. This will be the second PC I've built, but that was 3 years ago and I followed a YouTube video (so I'm no expert)

My previous build included:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: ASRock H97M Anniversary Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
GPU: XFX Double D Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition DirectX 11 FX-787A-CDFC 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0
PSU: Rosewill RG630-S12 - Green Series 630-Watt Active PFC Power Supply Unit
Memory: Patriot Viper 3 Low Profile Blue 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Crucial MX100 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Case: Cougar MG100 MicroATX Mini Tower Case
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit) (upgraded to 10 when it was free)
Monitor: Avera 40AER10N 40-Inch 1080p 60Hz LED-LCD HDTV
Surge protection: APC Back-UPS 550 VA surge protection and battery backup

I updated the OP with my monitor. For the future... I might upgrade to a 4k but I'm pretty happy with 2k at the moment. Also I added my battery backup device.

I also updated with the reason behind this venture lol
