Hello, hello.

After the last time where I sold my whole PC, I am here again to build a new one, gaming only though. AMD FAN.

So, as said, I am building new PC, since it's been a longer time since I played on PC, I am gonna need a quick help here.
I am looking for AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, probably an overkill for gaming only, but though, 250 Euro for that, shouldn't be a bad idea to go for.
What GPU for that? I am not really going for the 3080 TI or 3080 as it's too much money for now. What else can I get for that?

Two 144 Hz monitors
16 GB DDR4 3200 Mhz CL16 RAM
Asus Prime x470 Pro motherboard
SSD 500 GB
Gaming chair
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X (Or if it's too much, offer me something else, but mostly AMD)

5800X is a fine processor, but soon to be a bit outdated.
What kinds of games do you play?
Most will benefit most from strong single thread capability.
The 5800X scores about 650 on the cpu-z bench single thread performance test:

If you favor amd, buy a new gen am5 setup which might be about a 15% better price/performer.
Ditto for Intel 13th gen.
Well, I play most AAA games.
Warzone, PUBG, Destiny 2. That kind of games though.
Also some MMORPG's.

As much as I did want to go for Intel 12***, it's the price that is high and not worth it in my opinion.
And since it's now the time that I want to build PC, I cannot wait for the new gens to come out.
Most likely I won't update the PC for few years anyway, since this build should run most games anyway without any issues.

That's why I have been thinking about going for the 5800X and maybe 3070 TI, 16 GB RAM (Later maybe update to 32GB)

Just don't know if it'll be good enough to last few years.

Or maybe the 12600K Intel if it's any much better.

Buy in haste, repent at leisure.

AMD AM5 processors are out.
The 7600X is an excellent gamer and priced comparable to the 5800X.
I5-12600K is priced similarly.
Here is a review:

Intel 13600KF will release on 10/20 and cost $310.

Take the time to see how these processors fit your needs.

Oh well, I appreciate the help though.
After all I am probably going for 5800X, since I still have my old Motherboard Asus Prime x-470 Pro which still works with AMD 5800x, so less money to spend in my opinion and from what I read, 5800X will still be good for the next years.

Meantime, 3070 Ti will be good?
