Building new PC's for me and my kids

Okay guys, I need some advice. My kids and I like to play Minecraft and some other games, Starcraft II, Diablo III, Garry's Mod, etc. together. I'm looking to get 3 PC's. I'll be picking up some items through Walmart, cheap speakers for the kids, probably cheap keyboards and mice and for now, cheap monitors for them too. Kids are rough on things and if anything gets broke I don't want it to make me broke, if you know what I mean.

I need help with a couple of questions.

1. I could build them myself, I know how, but it has been a while since I have done so. Now I know the first answer will be to build it myself, but if I were to choose to have custom rigs built, where should I go, based on price and reliability. Cyberpowerpc.com has good prices but doesn't seem to be reliable...but I'm considering them.

2. We will be getting AMD Processors. I don't need an Intel vs. AMD argument. Really. Just what is going to be plenty good enough for the above listed games for my kids. I know I need a much more powerful processor, I just don't have the funds to pay for an Intel right now. What processor should I get for the kids, no overclocking for them, just out of the box that will play most modern games that aren't like AC: Unity or Dying Light. Also, I want to play AC: Unity and Dying Light and any other games that will be coming that will be similar, so what do you suggest for me.

3. IF I build it all myself, which I may, I really want it to go smoothly, my biggest fear is getting all the parts I want and then trying to install them in the case and things start to not fit and I'm tearing out fans and such from the case. So what should I get as a list of items to make it all work.

4. I am willing, but necessarily wanting to spend $3500 or so total for all 3 PC's. If it can come in under that I would be very happy! This will need to include any extra tools I will need, heat sink paste, etc. The kids PC's don't need crazy cooling and such. But I wouldn't mind having better cooling in mine.

Anything you see that could help me cut expenses, please point out, if anything looks like a bad choice or there is a cheaper one that works as well or better, please let me know.

I really appreciate any help you could give me. Any ideas. Here are the specs for what I spun up on Cyberpowerpc.com. If they are too much that's fine, if not enough that's fine, let me know.
