Building New Syst help with cpu mobo combo

I was given asus a8n32-sli deluxe gaming board but already ordered AMD Opteron 185 Denmark 2.6GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket 939 Dual Core Processor i am now worried opteron will not work with this mobo. I was stupied not to look at the box and just selected 939 socket chip that had good reviews---Looking at the box of mobo it says support is for amd 64 athlon fx/amd 64 athlon x2/amd 64 athlon/amd sempron before i open cpu can some one with more knowledge tell me if this setup should work thanks 8O

It will work with the a8n32-sli, i have an opty 175 works like a charm

You need to check the CPU support list on the Asus web site:
http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=A8N32-SLI%20Deluxe
The brief summary descriptions in the main MB entries don't usually include "server" CPUs like the Opteron.
