Well, both the AMD B350 and Intel B360 motherboards have some great upgrade options.
AMD has currently the 2nd-gen Ryzen, which requires a bios update on the B350 motherboard. The Ryzen 5 2600 is better and doesn't cost much more, but it requires the update. I find this to be a drawback of choosing AMD at the moment, because you can't update without a compatible CPU.
Intel has the 8th-gen six-core i5 and i7 to upgrade to on the B360 motherboard, both typically faster than AMD's fastest when it comes to pure gaming.
