Question Building one for a friend

Hey guys so me and 3 other friends have eached decided to pitch in to help a cash-strapped friend build a gaming pc, i pitched in a 1050 ti but we still need help on finding new parts for a budget of 600 usd. the 1050ti was used and I gave to him. I was thinking of amd ryzen because its cheap, any other ideas? We also have 2 hard drives we got for him from one of my relatives.
