Question Building pc and issue

Hello, today im building my pc for the first time and when im doing everything on the mb box everything is working but when i put everything in a case and press power button then for half a second there is light and it stops working. Please someone help me to solve my issue

mb- B450m AsRock hdv
Cpu - amd 5 3600
Gpu - rx 580 8gb
Psu - corsair vs550
Ram - 2x8 16 gb 3200


Nothing seems to work. Just for half a second case fan turns red and then everything shuts down

That sounds like the PSU is shutting off as a safety precaution. My guesses would be either you've shorted something (maybe you've installed the motherboard standoffs in the wrong holes, you've dropped a screw under the motherboard, etc.), or that one of your cables or components isn't fully seated. The "easiest" thing to do would probably be to take it all apart and put it back together again!
