Hi! I have a graphic card and power supply, but I don't have other components. Any suggestion for how much ram I need (ddr3 or ddr4) and what CPU? I will use it mainly for playing games and maybe some unity programming/3d modeling.

GPU: AMD Radeon RX580 Sapphire NITRO+ 8GB GDDR5
Power supply: 650w Cooler Master MWE650 Bronze

Do you have a budget?

Today, a current gen intel or ryzen is the processor to buy if you are buying new.
You will need ddr4 ram, likely a 2 x 8gb kit will suffice.

A balanced gamer will budget about 2x the cost of the processor for the graphics card.
Work backwards to find your appropriate budget for the cpu.

Ryzen 3200g or intel i5-10100 would be appropriate If you bought the rx580 for $250 or so used.

Once you pick the processor, then you can pick the motherboard.

Once you pick the motherboard, you can pick appropriate ram.
