Building PC for 1080p gaming

In my budget I can pair up either i3 6100 with GTX 1060 6gb or i5 6500 with rx 470! Help me to choose one..

I'd go with the i3 7100 (should be same price but higher clock speed) with the 1060 6gb thinking that I might sell the CPU later and buy an i5/i7.

If you have no intention of upgrading the CPU in the next 4-5 years but do intend to upgrade your gpu before then I would go with a i5 7500 & 470 thinking I will upgrade gpu in 2-3 years time.

For Intel, I would go with what sizzling suggests. I might not buy the 6GB version though, the GPU is starting to pull away from the CPU in performance.

But more than anything, wait for Ryzen (how many times have I typed that in the last week)
