Building pc for a friend

hey guys i'm trying to build a pc for a mate, how's this?

Moederboard: Asus H81-PLUS


Case: BitFenix Neos Zwart/Goud


Voeding: Corsair Builder CX500 Bronze


CPU: Intel Core i5 4460



RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury white HX316C10FW/4



Graphics card: MSI GeForce GTX750Ti Gaming 2GB



HARDISK: Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB

I presume this will be a gaming PC and the budget isn't very high? This would be a good starting point and just tweak/upgrade as needed within your budget...

Is it a gaming build? Budget constraints? Your friend will usually get more gaming performance from a Haswell i3 + R9 280.

hey, i switched the gt 750 for the r9 280 his budget is 700, i prefer keeping the quadcore on it though, thanx for the help 😀.

I5 + R9 280 would be perfect mate!

You should get a H97 motherboard so you wont need a BIOS update. Or get a i5-4440 w/ that Asus H81-PLUS you choose.

Asus H81-PLUS + i5 4460 will require a BIOS update though. Easy enough but you will need a old Haswell cpu (like i5-4440) in order to perform that update.
