Hello, I'm looking into helping a friend build his first pc. He has a budget of roughly £550.
What do you think of this build?
Thanks!

I don't think he has to change the motherboard. It is very good for the price, doesn't matter if It's a Z97. Just 2 changes; one for the case and one for the power supply.

Super Flower and Seasonic make the best power supplies out there now, this Super Flower especially is a good unit so expect it to last on you more than twice as long as that Corsair CX power supply you've chosen now. Maybe go for the 550w to be a bit more future proof perhaps for your next GPU upgrade.

Other than that I think the setup is solid.

Changed the motherboard to the previous one. I automatically thought that a H97 would be cheaper however this seems to be a very pleasant surprise.
I just checked the specs and it doesn't seem to be compromising anything worth mentioning.

Yeah, i would recommend a minor overclock if anyone is purchasing this motherboard for there unlocked LGA 1550. Perhaps around 4.2 ~ 4.3Ghz
