Hello guys I have skme questions

I have i7 920 and I want to put together a new build .
I will go for Gtx 1070 , how much should I overclock my cpu so it won't bottleneck , I saw some people go as far as 4.0 Ghz , so I would need to know what motherboard is good for overclocking and that can support Gtx 1070 and does someome know how much power do I need ?

Thanks in advance . :)

Including DDR4 RAM. Can go even cheaper if you can wait until next year for the cheaper B360 motherboards to become available.

Sure you can do it, no problems. You just wont be able to fully utilize the GTX 1070 with that CPU.
What i'm saying is, that if you need to buy new mobo, which may come expensive and overpriced as it is an discontinued platform and chipset, that is unless you will buy second hand. And if you need to buy new RAM as well, you should really consider a new system instead.

You can technically pair a GTX 1070 w/ an overclocked i7 920. The problem is the CPU is still going to hold you back in games. Like mentioned, the cost to get the parts you don't have wouldn't be worth it compared to modern, unless you get them at a very cheap price.

Have no idea as it was the only one i could find and a total waste of money as it is too overpriced and as I said, you can get a new mobo and better performing CPU for the same money.
Not even sure this mobo can overclock.

I have a P6T Deluxe LGA1366 still in use today. That said, I paid $350 when it came out back in late 2008. It's missing all the modern features on newer boards, and I would never pay $250+ for board alone today. That's a lot of money better served towards an entirely new system.

Hmm , dont get me wrong I found some motherboards that can overclock this cpu for cheaper price , but the problem is here at mine place everything is overprice + I already have this cpu and got is really cheap , so getting new mobo and cpu would cost me about 300 dollars minimun more .

Because they are not being manufactured anymore and dealers are trying the earn big $ from selling this to desperate people who doesn't think about that they could get a new build for same money.

Nice specs , I'l look into it , thank you so much for your help , here is last question , do you think it is good idea to go with i7 920 if I get mobo for cheaper price ( max 110 dollars ) ?

That would be totally up to you. Personally I would never post $110 into a mobo for such an old platform. Specially not since for that money it will most likely be from the second hand marked.
