Hi. I'm trying to build a PC. I have a Gtx 1660 and sone ddr3 rams so far which maybe ill change in future. So far I need a motherboard and a CPU mainly for gaming. I was thinking i5 series 10 but Im open to suggestion. Budget max $150 for CPU and ~$100 for the motherboard

Solution
I think you can do even better.
The i5-9400f has 6 threads and a passmark rating of 9592. That is when all 6 threads are fully utilized.
The single thread rating is 2490 which is more important for most gaming.
The meaning of i3 vs. i5 has changed.
A better alternative is the $120 8 thread i3-10100 which has a rating of 8890/2646

You can use any lga1200 motherboard.
A H410 based motherboard will be about $70.
On ram, most any 2 x 8gb DDR4 ram will be fine.
2666 will be the fastest supported; Here is such a kit for $53:

If you have DDR3, you're looking at older, used components to pair with it (i7-470K or older)..... but those tend to be relatively expensive.

With a ~$250 combined budget, I'd scrap the DDR3 idea completely - and look to a Ryzen5 system. Even the slightly older Ryzen5 2600, B450 motherboard & 2x4GB DDR4 would be a great route to go:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor ($144.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Biostar B450MH Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($64.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Crucial 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR4-3200 CL22 Memory ($36.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $246.97

The motherboard isn't great, nor is the RAM - and 2x8GB would be preferred, but I was making sure I can in <$250.

If you had an extra $20-$30, it would be worth it in terms of quality & capacity:

Motherboard: MSI B365M PRO-VDH Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($69.99 @ B&H)
Memory: Silicon Power XPOWER Turbine 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2666 CL16 Memory ($49.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $259.97

I love this idea. Im looking for the parts online. The h410 motherboard needs to have any particular spec?
What is the make/model of your case?
You need to fit your pick into the case.
If your case has 4 expansion slots, you will need one of the M-ATX motherboards.
If your case has 7 expansion slots, you can use either M-ATX or ATX sizes.

Otherwise, differences are not likely to be important to you.
Integrated graphics outputs will differ, for example.
Here is a chart of the differences between the H410 chipset and other options:

If you need wireless, you would probably pay more for included wireless, but a wifi adapter or dongle would do the job on a lesser motherboard.
