Building rig NEED advice

I am working on my first build and I have done some research and have my parts picked out and am just looking for advice, is this a good build for gaming and some photo/editing videos:


EVGA GeForce GTX 680 2048MB GDDR5, DVI, DVI-D, HDMI, DisplayPort, 4-way SLI Ready Graphics Card Graphics Cards 02G-P4-2680-KR

AS Rock LGA1155 DDR3 SATA3 USB3.0 Quad CrossFireX and Quad SLI A GbE ATX Motherboard Z77 EXTREME4

Intel Core i5-3570K Quad-Core Processor 3.4 GHz 4 Core LGA 1155 - BX80637I53570K

Corsair Professional Series HX 750 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Gold (HX750)

16gb of ram
I also have a tb hard drive,

Do you think that this motherboard is acceptable for the build? And do you think I should stick with the i5 or upgrade to the i7

If it's mainly gaming then the i5-3570k is the best choice, that motherboard is a good one for the price, though, i would get the 670 gtx because it's cheaper and the performance difference is really minimal.

For gaming you don't need the i7, the ht and the extra four threads of the i7 will only help in editing, if it's mainly gaming, you don't need it, the i5-3570k is a good cpu for it too.

Do you think I need an aftermarket CPU fan or do you think I will be fine with the factory?

If you plan to overclock get an aftermarket cooler, if you don't, the stock cooler is fine.

When looking for the gtx 670 which brand should I choose, when I look on amazon there are a few options.

Look for a non reference card like the msi pe, gigabyte windforce 3x, asus dcii or evga ftw and signature 2.
