I have a Seasonic 650W G series power supply. It has a non-modular PCI-e cable that has two 6+2 ends for use with sli. However, I don't like the one end just hanging out in the case. Can I use one of the modular PCI-e cables instead and stow this one out of sight?

i assume the modular cable only has 1 6+2 on it so will look tidier is what you mean

since you posted a slightly different version of this question i assume you realised thats an extra cpu cable not

pci-e?
