Question Building server for medium size dental office

Hi, I'm considering building a server for my dental office. I've got some desktop building experience. I run Patterson Eaglesoft and have 8 workstations. Eaglesoft recommends a minimum of Xeon 6th gen processor and 8MB RAM. I figure I should not get a minimal requirement processor and at least 16MB Ram. I will be running Windows Server as the OS. Does anyone have any "bang for the buck" suggestions for all components to build a quiet and energy efficient server that will leave some headroom so that it will not be obsolete in a few years? Thanks

Hire a local hardware and network guy.
You be the dentist and run your business.

This is little different than:
"I need to upgrade the HVAC in the building. What should we buy?"
or
"The current plumbing is substandard. How to upgrade it?"

Let a specialist do this, and you specialize in what you're good at.

Actually its not hence the reason journeyman plumbers in my neck of the woods are at $41 an hour not including benefits.
