Building up an i7 cpu

Hello,i want to build an i7 cpu at a low cost is it possible and it would be used for gaming office and home

By CPU I assume you mean computer? Where do you live and what is your budget?

Look at recent system builder marathon articles by tomshardware and you can see the price ranges for the i7 machines that they have built. Generally there is a certain price range where an i7 machine makes sense, and below that you are better off with the lower priced AMD processors so you can put your money into a good video card.
