Building upon current parts, new CPU RAM and MOBO

Hey guys,

I am putting together a build that I intend to use for 3d modeling and gaming.
Basically I want to build upon what I currently have, which is:
GPU: Asus 570 GTX 1280mb
PSU: 750 watt Thermaltake Toughpower
Case: Antec NineHundred

I was thinking of buying these parts to combine with the ones on top:
Intel Core i7-4790K
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI
2 X G.Skill Ripjaws-X 2x8GB DDR3 1600Mhz

A few notes:
I plan on upgrading my GPU in a year or so.
I dont intend to overclock.
I've love to hear about any recommended coolers.
Will this mobo fit my case?
Have Samsung 840 SSD.

I'd appreciate any advice concerning the practicality of the above parts meshing
well together and whether this computer will stand the test of time for the next
few years.

Also I would like to ask which motherboard would you guys recommend aside from the one I posted.
