Built a new build, working very slow

I just dropped a grand on a new build, key components i5-4590, msi Z97S SLI KRAIT, msi gtx 960, 600w psu. After installing windows onto a ssd, i encountered everything to be slow. Slow extracting speeds, geekbench results http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench3/4583033 , innability to run games etc. have proven the slowness. The geekbench is a 1/4 of what it should be. I updated windows and I thought i updated the drivers, bios etc. but that didnt help. I am now worried that I did something wrong or something is broken. Should I try to redownload all drivers? I am very confused. Thanks for any help!

yeah, redownload and update the drivers to the newest version, even the bois.

Ok. Redownload just the drivers and bios or also windows?

download all of the drivers and download a new bois version.
you don't need to re download windows.
