A little less than 4 weeks ago, I built a new gaming PC (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZrQTd9). It works as expected, except for one pretty major issue
The major issue is that occasionally, at random intervals, my computer will just stop working and my monitor displays a black screen. I can't do anything, and can't even use my case power button to power the pc off, I have to switch the power supply off and on to reboot. The motherboard, a Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX, displays a red CPU light, indicating something has gone wrong regarding my CPU, a Ryzen 7 7800x3d. I have the latest bios update for my motherboard, but even before I updated the same issue would occur. It's not any malware either, as this was happening even before I restored my previous system's image. Can happen any time, whether it be gaming or just browsing the internet.
I've seen a similar post here also using AM5 and a gigabyte motherboard, so it might be a common issue? The last thing I want to do is take apart the system and replace the motherboard, so i was wondering if there was any definitive fix or if any others who had the same issue were able to resolve it.
Any help solving this issue would be greatly appreciated!
