built a new pc doesnt boot up

My pc doesnt boot up when start the button on the case the only thing that happens the cpu fan spins for a second and gpu light turns on for a second asswell i did everything properly by the troubleshoot list and the wiring is good My specs are her:I5 6400,MSI GTX 1060 3G,NZXT S340,Cooler master B500 Ver.2,1 stick of hyperx 2133mhz ddr4 and motherboard MSI B150M Gaming pro and cpu is installed correctly

Double check every connection again, disconnect them and then put them back. Do the same with the RAM and VGA. It sounds like something is shorted out, and the PSU automatically turns off to prevent the damage. So, make sure that the above things are right, and check the motherboard too, because it might touch the PC case somewhere where it shouldn't.
