I built myself a PC in November of 2019 in order to play some games. All parts were new from Amazon besides my 2TB Hard Drive, which just has games on, and my GPU which I took from an old build as it still runs fine although I feel it may be failing in some games now.

Basically I will be on my PC and randomly it'll lock up and the screen will go black and show "no HDMI signal" however my PC is still running as I can see it's on and the activity light is flashing. I'm hoping this is only a GPU issue but after googling the symptoms a lot of people point to the PSU failing which wouldn't surprise me as I cheaped out there. Not sure if anyone's had issues with this or know a way I could diagnose it?

There's no warning signs as it will just randomly do it maybe once a week? There's no set date or time it does it either. I could be playing a game or like today I turned it on, opened Chrome and went on youtube and then it did it 10 seconds later.

Thanks if anyone can give any help!
Stay safe!

Specs:

MSI B450M Bazooka V2
Ryzen 5 1600
Sapphire Nitro R9 380 4GB (From a previous build, bought in 2016)
(2x8) 16GB RAM at 3200MHz
250GB SSD
2TB HDD
EVGA 500 W1, 80+ WHITE 500W (I fear this is the culprit)
