Built a pc today , it has slow internet connection while as my old laptop has a normal connectio

I've built a new PC today and its having a really slow connection while as my old laptop has a decent connection.
I'm using GA-990FXA-UD5 , downloaded Realtek LAN Driver and its still slow .
I've tested it on speedtest.net and it gave me 4 ping and a download speed of almost 14 mb/s .

What OS?
Wired or wireless (you only mentioned Lan Driver so I am assuming wired)
What is your connecton speed supposed to be?
Do you have network shares on another wired computer so that you could test the actual network speed of the adapter?

a 14Mbit connecition should give you around 1.75 megabytes downloadspeed.
and how do you notice you have a slow connection, downloading stuff, or just browsing the internet?

Wired

Youtube videos won't even load (loads about 20% of the video and then stops)
other sites are slow , just too slow
i can't even download google chrome :/

Update : can't download skype or google , can't log in onto battle.net

did you try reinstalling the drivers? or use another cable? I dont know whats wrong, but I can at least try to give a few sugestion untill someone who knows more about it comes and checks

Yeah i did try to reinstall and nothing changed
the cable was fine with another pc
