Built first pc. Turns on but no signal to monitor PLEASE HELP

I've tried many thing seen a few videos but I just can't figure it out PLEASE help

Are you using the DVI connection on the monitor and card?

Sorry don't know much but if u mean is it plugged in then yes it is

Try a different display output, also make sure your pcie power cables are properly connected are theseveral all brand new parts?.

The graphics card does not have a place to plug pcie in. The fan for it runs so I think it is powered

Does the system stay powered on? or does it power off after a few seconds and then back on and off again over and over?

First things first. Are you plugging into the video card or the motherboard? If you are plugging into the motherboard, plug into the graphics card.

You might also remove the graphics card for a minute, then plug into the video output on the motherboard and see if it comes up.

I had it in graphics card. Tried switching nothing changed
