Built new pc and not showing anything on screen.

Hello i have a problem and gone threw so much to still not get it to show anything on screen.
Specs- amd ryzen 5 1400 cpu, RoG strix b350-f gaming mobo, evga 500w bronze power supply, 1T wd blue hard drive, 2x 4gb of ballistix ram, and xfx radeon r7 240 4gb.

Ive put this pc together and had it not be detected on my tv connected with hdmi, i went out and bought a cheap monitor to use a vga and dvid and yet nothing shows on the monitor. Ive re seated all parts including the cpu, gpu, ram, hard drive, and the 24pin to the mobo. Ive made sure both tv and monitor work properly. Thanks

make sure the 8 pin eps cable was used and it plugged into the mb...should say cpu1/cpu0. if there no post make sure the right standoff screws and standoffs were used and the mb not shorted to the case. pull the mb use one ram stick and a gpu see if she post out of the case.
