as stated my new pc won't stay running.
it starts up clicks then turns off. however after i unplug the 8pin connector to the cpu, everything on the motherboards starts up such as the fans and such. no image or anything pops on the monitor

mobo: ASUS STRIX B360-G GAMING
cpu: Intel Core i7-7700K Quad core
power sup: CORSAIR RMx Series RM750x
gpu: gtx 1080

May have found out why and its because of mobo and cpu are incompatible.

Solution
the CPU is the wrong generation for that motherboard. 7th gen CPU and 8th gen motherboard will not work together sorry.
the motherboard is "Designed exclusively for 8th generation Intel Core™ processors to maximize connectivity and speed with dual NVMe M.2, USB 3.1 Gen2 and Intel Optane™ Memory compatibility "
